Truth, beauty, unity, harmony, integrity, universality... Catholics giving expression to these concepts have been cast out of today's sovietized state universities by the obsolescent flower-children who control them. For, these words, the Beautiful and the True, signify not only the components of art, but also the metaphysical reasons why God is most knowable to the human mind.

Please join us and support the mission of our Five Academies, to promote art, music, and ideas ordained to God's revelation of Himself to the human mind and heart. We believe that "Faith is the Regent of the Arts" and have made this expression our motto: "Fides Magistra Artium."

Our mission is to elevate the arts to their proper level of morality and refinement by diffusing the true notion of the beautiful in art to the general public, as well as to practicing artists and writers. This mission reposes on the Church's Aristo-Thomistic philosophy as handed down by Sacred Tradition.

Today's neo-Stalinist culture-thugs reduce art to an aimless experiment culminating in the tyranny of the ugly, while pseudo-traditionalists reduce it to a vague emotion of reverence elicited by dead imitation. The Catholic Institute is the only organization in the world encouraging artists and writers to apply solid principles and definitions of art in its divine ordination to the supersensible world of meaning and highest truth.
